Terms of Use

These terms cover your use of the Brancho website and app, both the free version and Brancho Pro. By using Brancho you agree to them.

Last updated: 26 August 2026

Brancho is operated by Bexamy Pty Ltd as trustee for the Meager Family Trust.

Your account

You're responsible for your account and for what happens under it, including keeping your password to yourself. Please give accurate details when you sign up — particularly your email address, since that's how we reach you about your account.

Gardening information is general information

Brancho gives general growing guidance based on the plant, your climate zone and the timing of jobs. Gardens vary: soil, microclimate, season, water and local conditions all change what works. You stay responsible for your own decisions, including safe handling of tools, soil, fertilisers and chemicals, and for checking whether a plant or plant part is edible or toxic before eating it or feeding it to animals. Where something matters — health, allergies, chemical use, weed status or a significant planting investment — check with a suitable professional or local authority.

Using Brancho, and who owns what

We give you a personal, non-exclusive licence to use Brancho for your own gardening. The Brancho name, mascot, design, guides, plant library and other content stay ours.

Your garden records, notes and photos stay yours. By adding them you give us the limited rights we need to store, process, back up and display them back to you, and to operate the service — for example, including your plants in your weekly email.

Acceptable use

  • Don't use Brancho for anything unlawful, abusive or harassing.
  • Don't scrape, bulk-copy or republish Brancho content, or attack, overload or probe the service.
  • Don't attempt to access other people's accounts, admin tools, or any part of the system you haven't been given access to.
  • Don't upload content you don't have the right to upload.

Brancho Pro subscriptions

Brancho Pro is a recurring subscription, billed monthly or yearly in advance. Current pricing is shown on the Pro page. If page text and the checkout ever disagree, the price, currency and interval shown at checkout are the ones that apply. Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price until you cancel.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns

In plain English: Paddle handles the transaction, taxes, invoicing, payment-related support and refunds. Brancho doesn't receive or store your full card details. Paddle's own terms and privacy policy apply to the payment side of your purchase.

Cancelling

You can cancel any time from Account → Manage subscription, which opens Paddle's subscription management, or through Paddle's payment support. Cancelling stops future renewals; Pro access normally continues until the end of the period you've already paid for, unless consumer law requires otherwise. More detail is in the refund and cancellation policy.

Changes to Brancho or to pricing

Brancho will keep changing as it grows. If we make a material change to a paid plan or its price, we'll give you reasonable notice where practical, so you can cancel before it takes effect if you'd rather not continue. We may update these terms from time to time; the "last updated" date above tells you when they last changed.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account that's being used to break these terms, harm other users, or attack the service. We'll act proportionately and, where it's reasonable to do so, let you know and give you a chance to sort it out. You can close your own account at any time by emailing us.

Availability and liability

We work to keep Brancho available and accurate, but we can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free, and gardening outcomes depend on many things outside our control, including weather, soil, pests and how advice is applied.

Australian Consumer Law: nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and the courts there have jurisdiction — subject always to any mandatory consumer rights that apply where you live.
